Atria
Seattle Opened 11 October 2025
Pale, spare shop of locally made art and ceramics
Everything here reads pale and spare, built around objects rather than racks: art on the walls, handmade ceramics, hand-woven textiles, small-batch fragrance. Co-owner Jane Kidder is a Ballard artist herself, and her own taste runs the buying.
Kidder points to Japanese aesthetics and simplicity as the inspiration, and it shows in the room. Most of what's on the shelves comes from local makers, and Atria is now a regular stop on the Ballard art walk.
Good to know
- Atria is a stop on the Ballard Art Walk, when the shop stays open into the evening.
- Stock is small-batch and one-off, so the ceramics and textiles turn over fast.
