Fresh croissants and a Parisian redo on Main Street

Attar bakes croissants, pastries and bread all day on Luganville's Main Street, and it's built a name locally around a healthy-lifestyle pitch you won't find at the town's more straightforward cafes.

Regulars come back for the cakes and coffee as much as the savoury menu. The space was recently redone with an indoor-outdoor layout inspired by Paris, a real step up from most of what else is on Main Street.

Good to know

• Go early for the pastries - the croissants are the reason people come back.
• Open daily, with later hours than most cafes in town.

Veggie wrap was delicious, just as cucumber-lemon juice and dessert. One of the best places in Luganville!

Best coffee in the town, highly recommended for a quick bite t or break fast. Just the hours of operation needs to be updated as it was not open during my stay.

Had some great coffee and cake with ice-cream 😁 the service was quick and very friendly. We have gone back there 9 times now and each as good as the first😃

Good, reasonably priced food. The local juices are excellent.
