Cong Caphe runs on a joke old enough to be a brand: propaganda posters, army canteen furniture, staff in olive uniforms, all played dead straight. The Sapa branch landed on Cau May walking street and already pulls the crowd every other location does, people who came for the coconut coffee and stayed for the photo.

Order the ca phe cot dua, coconut cream blended into strong Vietnamese coffee over ice. It's the drink the chain is actually known for, and here you can walk straight out into the evening market with it in hand.
