Coco Cafe Bar and Restaurant

A bar and restaurant the city council uses for food market events

Ever wonder where Chipata's city council holds its food market days? Coco Cafe Bar and Restaurant is a regular host, including a gathering ahead of Ncwala ceremony season that got a shoutout from the mayor's office.

Despite the cafe name, it reads on Google as a nightclub-category venue, bar and restaurant combined rather than a coffee stop. It's a small, independently run operation that keeps showing up in local event listings.

Good to know

• Watch for city council-organised food market days, Coco Cafe hosts several through the year.
• It functions more as a bar and event space than a sit-down cafe despite the name.
