A garden cafe on Dag Hammarskjoeld Drive in Itawa

Mint Café sits at 33 Dag Hammarskjoeld Drive in Itawa and has been Ndola's default cafe for years running, built on a menu of salads, wraps, toasted sandwiches and a chicken quesadilla regulars order without checking the menu. The garden seating, indoor and outdoor, is the other reason people linger past their coffee.

It gets busy at lunch on weekdays with an office crowd from nearby, so arrive before noon if you want an outdoor table. The Facebook group has run since before Instagram took over as the way locals track opening hours and specials.

A very pleasant & relaxing place to dine. Good menu selection & quality of food is also good. Garden area is a nice touch although it was in need of a bit of maintenance. Wi-fi available.

I was visiting Ndola and had no idea Mint Cafe existed here as well. I was super excited when I was told there’s a Mint cafe in Ndola as well. Very friendly service, beautiful outdoor seating area, very friendly and welcoming service and great range of healthy foods. I had an open vegetarian sandwich and coffee. Loved it.

The greens are so fresh. The services were efficient. Loved the ginger, lemon, and honey tea. Salads are excellent and fresh.
