Adults-only all-inclusive on Dickenson Bay, over-water restaurant included

The restaurant built out over the water is the reason to screenshot this one. Royalton CHIC Antigua sits on Dickenson Bay, adults-only and all-inclusive, with a swim-up section and more than 230 suites under Marriott's Autograph Collection.

Dickenson Bay already had Sandals and a string of older condo resorts, so a property this size changed the beach rather than filling a quiet gap. It's the largest new hotel to land near St John's in years, and Antigua's Prime Minister has name-checked it directly when talking up the island's room count.

Good to know

• Adults only, no under-18s anywhere on the property.
• About fifteen minutes from V.C. Bird airport and a short drive from St John's, so it works as a first or last night as well as a full week.
