Southern Vietnamese cuts through Strathfield's Korean run
Com tam and broken rice plates are the move here, southern Vietnamese cooking that's good enough to land on Broadsheet's best new Sydney restaurants list. It opened on The Boulevarde in a strip that Korean restaurants have owned for two decades, and it's holding its own.
It's a two-minute walk from Strathfield station. Go for lunch if you want a table without waiting, dinner usually means a queue.

We ordered catering for my daughter's birthday party at home and the food was amazing. Very helpful and accommodating in taking my order at late notice and keeping me informed along the way. The food was so good that my family were keen to take the leftovers. Highly recommend (especially the catering option). Thank you.

Huge portions and delicious food. The Special Combination Pho was packed with toppings, and the Pork Tomahawk & Fried Egg was massive and full of flavour. Even with four people, we still had leftovers to take home. Will definitely be back.

WOW absolutely incredible We had such an amazing experience!!! The food was absolutely incredible honestly one of the best Vietnamese meals we've had. Every dish was so full of flavour, fresh, and beautifully presented 🥹 The crab tapioca noodles were a standout and unlike anything we've tried before, and the pork chop was absolutely phenomenal 🤯 We were genuinely impressed by every dish that came out. See the pics below!!

A busy cheap and cheerful Vietnamese eatery serving up proper authentic dishes. In saying that, there is a lot of pork everywhere, so only 1 option for vegans and vegetarians to choose and that's the vegan bowl, which is actually quite delicious and such a large serve. Though they were also kind enough to serve up the rice paper egg roll without the pork floss, which was nice of them. That too was delicious, light and fresh. Very well priced too, for what you get. But come here to get your standard pho and bun bo hue, which is definitely a crowd pleaser given how busy they get with locals.

Another warm and authentic Vietnamese restaurant with incredibly generous portions, so definitely share with your friends if you cannot eat a lot! There are so many toppings, and everything feels hearty and satisfying. The snails with salted egg yolk sauce are absolutely incredible and highly recommended!
