Marie opened on September 15, 2025, on the roof of Klagenfurt's renovated Sparkasse building, directly above George, Hubert Wallner's ground floor cafe. The menu mixes cocktails with a casual fine-dining menu, sitting somewhere between a destination bar and a proper dinner spot.

The rooftop gives a sweep over the city's roofs and the Alps beyond, a view that didn't exist in central Klagenfurt before the building was renovated.
