Station café back from the dead, cocktails and a secret garden

Walk through the building and a small garden opens up behind it, hidden from the busy road out front. It's the kind of surprise you don't expect from a café facing a train station.

The place went bankrupt in 2023 after years as the pre-train coffee stop. New owners brought it back in December 2024 with cocktails and snacks instead of the old standard beer and coffee, and it held its ground straight through that first Christmas market.

Wonderful that they are open again! Super friendly owners and top-notch service. Everything is neatly taken care of and the spacious terrace – not fully signposted yet, but definitely worth a visit – is a lovely place to enjoy yourself. Absolutely recommended for cyclists passing by the Grasbos.
