Belize City's only fully vegan kitchen, up a flight on Fort Street

Skip the stewed chicken and rice and beans that dominate every other menu in town. Martha's runs off the second floor of the Om Shanti Yoga Studio, and it's the only 100% vegan and vegetarian restaurant in Belize City. The menu stays short: vegan patties and green shakes do the heavy lifting.

Yoga students drift down after class, divers show up tired of fry jacks, and locals whose diets nobody else caters to have made this their spot. Small upstairs room, big reputation for a city this size.
