Wayo's sits on Boca del Rio Drive, a beach bar built for daytime drinking rather than a late night out. It's a fixture on most roundups of San Pedro's best bars, less for anything unusual on the menu than for doing the basics right. Cold beer, a table on the sand, nothing more complicated than that.

It gets busy on lobster season weekends when the whole Boca del Rio strip fills up.
