Bermuda's own craft beer, brewed dockside

Watch the brewing tanks from your bar stool. Moongate's taproom sits right on the harbour at Penno's Wharf, in a two-floor building that used to be the World Heritage Centre, and the equipment is out in the open instead of hidden behind a wall.

This is actual Bermuda-brewed beer, not an import, and the place is built for drinking rather than dining. Gosling's picked it up for island-wide distribution not long after it opened.

Good to know

• Ask for a look at the brewing setup, it's visible from the taproom.
• There's a pool table upstairs if you're settling in for a while.
