300+ wine labels tucked into San Miguel

Ask staff for a flight of Bolivian tannat or malbec. Most visitors have never tried either, and that's the point of this cellar on Calle Jaime Mendoza, a block off Avenida Montenegro.

More than 300 labels fill the shelves, split between Bolivian producers from the Cinti and Tarija valleys and imports from further out. The room is small and gets loud once the weekend crowd shows up.

I'm from Chile and I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food, and the great selection of wines to pair with it. Brisa's service was also outstanding; she was very friendly and an expert at what she does. I definitely plan to return :)
