Craft beer, pool tables and late food a block from the plaza

Pool and foosball tables sit by the bar, and the drinks list leans into local craft beer alongside caipirinhas and the usual tropical cocktails. Happy hour runs 7 to 9 p.m., and the open-sided building built from local materials keeps the jungle-tour crowd and Bolivian regulars mixing at the same tables.

It's one of the few spots in Rurrenabaque still serving food after 11 p.m. Open daily from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., a block off the main plaza on Calle Avaroa.

Luna Lounge is a rustic bar built entirely with local materials — esteras, jatata, tacuara, wood. You can feel the vibe. The food is good, and if you're staying at Lobo Hostel, you get a complimentary drink with your meal order. Plus, Raúl the owner is super friendly and has a ton of stories to share. Great spot with real character.

Food was lovely, however, we were the only ones in the restaurant and waited over an hour for the wrong dish! Ended up eating the same wrong dish as they didn’t seem to be up for swapping. The vibe and decor of the place however is really cool!

We both had pizza, really good, nice fresh toppings. Very quiet but staff fine. Slightly more expensive than Julianas. Not super quick, which reassured us that pizzas were cooked to order. Relaxed evening

This is my second time I ordered chicken in mushroom sauce and I will recommend to anyone. It tasted like Sunday's at home with granny 💖So tasty 🤤 Service was delivered within 25min. But when busy it may take longer, this food is prepared with love 💞 and this is not FAST FOOD! So you have to wait a bit. I also don't speak Spanish and they were so understanding when I was using Google translator 🙏 and today they had waiter who spoke English. ( ps. I went to Italian place, and I asked if they speak English the waitress gave me look with ignorance. Well I can learn Spanish but I would like to be treated with respect, I won't go there again for sure 🤷) Thank you again for your hospitality and your service. Luna Lounge it's my place 💖🌺🇬🇧🇵🇱😁

There are limited places to drink within the city centre. Luna Lounge is probably one of the best places given that it is open throughout the week until late rather than just weekends. Cocktails can be bought on offer - 2x for 40bs, and they're pretty decent too. A wide drinks selection, pool tables and a cool ambience makes for a good venue. Would recommend.
