Boteco lunch crowd by day, chopp crowd by night
Consulado Central does the full boteco job on Alameda Cabral: portions to pick at, sandwiches, a prato feito at lunch and cold chopp all day.
Office workers pack it at noon, then a different crowd takes over after seven. Prices stay cash-friendly for downtown.

Amazing place! With small portions of food displayed on the counter, a feast for the eyes and mouthwatering. The feijoada was very well served and the bean broth was "incredible"! And not to mention the creamy chicken croquettes! Spectacular! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Great service. Great atmosphere, but it's cramped, difficult for groups larger than 4 people (you have to wait). I tried mini bolovo (meatball with quail egg), coxinha (chicken croquette) and pastel (fried pastry). The pastel was delicious, but dripping with grease. The coxinha was delicious, but I didn't like the idea of the bone. Otherwise, everything was very good. I still have many other things to try. Great place. The pepper is strong and good!

I have a special fondness for this place. Great service, very affordable prices, excellent food, good music, it's a shame it opened and is already too small haha because it always has a lot of customers.

The food here is delicious! Every day I order a different dish and I'm always surprised. It's a true explosion of flavors, everything made with great care. The service is also excellent, always fast, attentive and very friendly!
