Honestly fermented drinks on Iskar street

Natural wine, craft beer, kombucha, seasonal cocktails. Nectar's whole pitch is honest fermentation, and about 95 percent of the wine list pours by the glass so you can actually work through it.

Food stays small on purpose: tapas, charcuterie, cheese, bread and butter, fondue once winter hits. Quiz nights, jam sessions and a book club keep the calendar full.

A beautiful natural wine bar in the heart of Sofia. Nowhere else quite has this design-centred aesthetic and selection of really good natural wines (including some very nice local ones which come highly recommended). It’s also in quite a cool area - Soviet-era trams trundle by right outside the shop, giving it a very trendy East Berlin kind of vibe.

A very cool and laid-back wine bar in the city center. It has a super fresh and stylish vibe. The atmosphere is cozy and modern. The bar is spread across two floors, and the staff are always smiling, friendly, and helpful. They answer all kinds of questions, give great recommendations, and play awesome music. There’s a selection of both Bulgarian and imported wines, including natural wines — white, sparkling, red, and orange. They also offer a few cocktails and some light bites that pair nicely with the wine or cocktails. Old Dog, New Tricks is definitely the best cocktail on the menu; the others are… just okay. Overall, it’s a really cool spot if you’re a fan of good wine and a great atmosphere!

A favorite place for a glass of wine with a friend. They rotate the menu often, so even a regular visitor can easily find something new to try. The thing that remains constant is the friendly service and the nice crowd that gathers there.

If you’re in Sofia and even remotely into natural wines, this place is an absolute must. The interior really sets the tone, it’s modern and stylish without trying too hard, dimmed light, good music, at the same time easy to talk, amazing athmosphere! The wine selection is seriously impressive. You can tell it’s curated with passion, they have unique bottles, very interesting flavors, and plenty of options you won’t find just anywhere in town. I loved it! Easily one of my favorite spots in Sofia!
