Café 1920's dinner sequel, minus the queue

The brunch queues at Café 1920 are Sofia folklore, but this sister spot on Tsar Shishman skips the wait entirely. It's built for dinner: craft plates, high ceilings, soft light, a slower tempo than the original ever allowed.

The famous brunch made the move too, so you can still get it here. But the real draw is the evening rhythm: long tables, long conversations, nobody rushing you toward the bill.

Had a lovely date with my wife there! 1920 took care of the delicious food and cozy atmosphere. Everything we ordered was perfect and the homemade butter with peppers deserves it's own 5 star review (still thinking about it). The staff was extremely friendly. We are excited to try their brunch next. See you soon 1920!

Absolutely loved this place! The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Everything we tried was full of flavor and made with care. The atmosphere was cozy, relaxing, and perfect for a calm breakfast. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Definitely a place I’d happily visit again!

Whatever you order from the menu, you can’t go wrong. The american fluffy pancakes and ribeye steak sandwich were incredible. The pancakes weren’t overly sweet with a stunning homemade berry jam. And the Sandwich’s chimichurri sauce paired nicely with the steak and fried egg. Service and recommendation from the waitress was immaculate. Will definitely come back again!

The cheesecake pancakes were spectacular - every bite, no exaggeration. 🥞The Lion’s Breakfast covered all the savory bases perfectly, and both the hot and iced lattes were smooth and well-made.🍳🥓 The music set the whole mood - “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” playing while you’re digging into cheesecake pancakes is exactly the kind of detail that makes a place memorable. Relaxed atmosphere, great food, great coffee. And the staff were warm and attentive throughout. ❤️ Highly recommend and already planning a return visit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
