The Yaoundé fried-chicken chain's first stop in the West

Tchopetyamo landed in Bafoussam's Asiatique quarter in late 2024, known already from Yaoundé and Douala. It sits across from Maketch Bar. Fast food here comes with a Cameroonian accent: breaded chicken, bitchakala salad, beignets, and a fonio dish on the specials board.

Doors open at 6:30am for people who want breakfast before work, and the kitchen keeps going until 10:30pm most nights. The mayor's office turned up for the opening, a sign of how much a recognized brand landing here mattered locally.

Food was fresh and new innovative but drinks was limited in flavours, the service they asking for money before serving food ( trust issue) and service was rather slow.
