Librairie du Quartier sits at the entrance to Bafoussam, facing Boulangerie La Paix. It is part of a small bookshop network already running in four Cameroonian regions, stocking titles in both French and English.

The shop leans into being a neighborhood spot rather than a big retailer, with a librairie solidaire day once a month where secondhand books sell cheap. It fills a real gap, since Bafoussam has had very few standalone bookshops for a city its size.
