MONOKIINI

A ceramics label's first shopfront, wheels and all
MONOKIINI throws its ceramics out of a loft on Saint-Laurent and just took its first street-level space near Jean-Talon. Tableware and decorative pieces sit out front while the making happens in the same room, the label's ceramics practice going back to 2023.
Pottery sessions run for anyone who wants to throw their own piece, some evenings pairing a workshop with a meal. Tourisme Montréal lists it in its shopping guide, five minutes from the Jean-Talon market.
Good to know
- Pottery classes run in the same room as the shop; sessions fill up, so book before you show up.
- Closed Mondays and Tuesdays, the rest of the week it's open late, to 8:30pm.

Loved this experience through and through! The coffee was some of the best I’ve had in the city and the entire experience was so much fun, accessible to beginners and Alice, the host/trainer of our session was so kind and excellent at explaining. Highly recommend this place for great coffee and a wonderful afternoon!

3-4 tables in a pottery studio/espresso bar. Espresso was 5/10 quality but the cups were cute.

Amazing experience with the themed movie “The Princess Diaries” evening. Cozy atmosphere and clear demonstration. The included drink and snacks were amazing also!
