Three Dots Coffee Lab

The College Street roaster with a weekly filter menu

Skip the syrup board. This is a lab, quite literally: the filter offering rotates every week, so ask what's on batch brew and take it black. The espresso runs lighter than most of the city dares.

It sits west of the Little Italy strip, where rents are cheaper and the crowd is neighborhood regulars, not tourists.

One of my favourite cafes in Toronto! Highly recommend their matcha lattes and experimental drinks. During my last visit, I got excellent service from Chris and Anne! They were very knowledgeable about beverage composition, and they accommodated to my dietary restriction.

Loved this place. Tried two of their signature drinks, and they were both so well balanced. You can tell a lot of thought went into every detail. Will definitely be back.

This spot is an absolute gem in the city! The first thing you notice when walking into Three Dots Coffee Lab is the unique atmosphere—the setup and counter layout actually look a lot like a sleek, upscale bar rather than your typical traditional coffee shop. It gives the space an incredibly cool, sophisticated vibe. The interior design is absolutely beautiful, featuring a clean aesthetic with careful attention to detail that makes it the perfect place to sit back, relax, or catch up with a friend. As for the drinks, the matcha is really good. It’s rich, smooth, and perfectly whisked without being overly bitter or overly sweet. It is easily one of the best matcha lattes I've had in Toronto lately. Between the stunning aesthetics, the distinct bar-like concept, and the high-quality drinks, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend checking it out!

This coffee lab in the city is a must experience. A different type of coffee experience who are willing to expand their pallette, Three Dots has been on my bucketlist and did not disappoint. I tried the Temple, it was a refreshing drink, the subtle coconut taste was wonderful.

Highly recommend the iced jasmine matcha latte and the hot black sesame matcha, both were so good. Also loved the brûléed croissant (can’t remember the exact name), definitely worth trying. Everything we had was amazing and I’d come back to try the cinnamon brioche next time. Service was friendly and kind, and I really loved the atmosphere. A lot of cafes are going laptop free, but this is definitely a spot I’d come back to and get some work done. Overall obsessed with the atmosphere, and the drinks and food were great.
