This has got to be the BEST afternoon tea experience I've had in a LONG time... enough to motivate me to write a review so they keep this up. (I normally don't bother leaving reviews). Over the years I've been to most of the long-standing hotel and traditional TO establishments for afternoon tea but recently stopped due to the cost (umm $100+?!) My weekend experience at Dopamina blew me away by the quality of the ingredients (lobster, foie gras, truffle, tartare...) that far exceeded my expectations at a reasonable $65 pp! While many other tea services are too heavy on the sweets, their afternoon tea tower was perfectly proportioned for a palate that prefers savoury. Two of the 3 trays leaned savoury and not your boring finger sandwiches done 3 ways but a *creative* take on savoury. If it's a teaser of their main dining experience, now I'm very curious. Yet the obligatory pastries that make a "tea" - ie scone, cakelets and petit fours - were delicate and delectable and must have been created at the hands of a talented pastry chef. If there's only one minor critique - I would normally expect a bit of clotted cream for the scone, but the scone was so flavorful on its own that I didn't miss it as much in the end. They also had a unique selection of 6 high quality loose leaf blends. We had very attentive service and never had to ask for a replenishment of our tea pots. Dopamina please keep up the fine standards for afternoon tea at this price point! I shall be returning!!

Loved the high tea experience at Dopamina. The service was so friendly. They were also able to accomodate our dietary restrictions which I really appreciated. The location is stunning and very high end. We enjoyed our visit.

We are here twice in rapid succession once for dinner, once for afternoon tea. Both were great experiences. The location is beautiful and care was taken to make it a comfortable environment. Service was excellent and just attentive enough without being over-bearing. The food was also very, very, good for the price point. This is certainly a great spot to go for a guaranteed delicious meal that was designed with care and attention to detail. I would however love to see more risks on the menu as they clearly have the necessary technical skills.

Been meaning to try their brunch for a while, and so glad I finally did! We shared a few plates: the eggplant dip, whipped ricotta with fig, duck (fall-off-the-bone good), and the tuna crudo…which was easily my favorite. Everything was beautifully presented and honestly just so good. Perfect amount of food for two, too. Already planning a return for their afternoon tea!

Perfect brunch place and Birthday celebration. Best scones ever!! The ambient of the place is elegant and cozy The staff attention was great, 5 stars service. I went with my friends to celebrate my birthday and we had a great time, we enjoyed the high tea experience, chamomille with lavanda tea is delicious. Definitely it is a place that I will come back!! :)
