Rooftop bar, evenings only, above the hostel

Urban Rooftop sits on top of Urban Hostel on Rua Patrice Lumumba, the four-story building that opened December 11, 2025 as Cape Verde's first hostel built from the ground up. The bar runs shorter hours than the café downstairs. Cocktails and petiscos from 5pm to 11pm. Guests get first dibs but anyone can climb the stairs.

The view stretches over the rooftops of Praça Nova to the bay, without the crowds at Laginha's beach bars. Go for sunset if you can. The terrace fills up fast once the light starts to fade.
