Driftwood and local art on Le Dhow's ground floor

Café Dhow feels more like wandering into someone's gallery than sitting down for lunch. It's on the ground floor of Le Dhow, a small guesthouse out past Cap 2000 in Petite Coulée, with driftwood furniture, local art on every wall and plants crowding the corners.

Travel creators passing through Moroni have been quietly clocking this one over the past year. Monday hours run short, opening only at 5pm, so plan around it.

Good to know

Open Tuesday to Saturday from midday; Monday only from 5pm.
Closed the rest of Monday.

I had a pleasant stay here, pretty and functional room for 50E, and Quentin helped me a lot with infos about the island, ask for Chaufera for the volcano or Quinze ans for taxi. Very pretty and good restaurant as well. A bit hidden, but nothing is far in Moroni…

The accommodation at Café Dhow gets a solid 5 stars. We stayed in a super apartment with a separate bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. Well airconditioned, spacious, and very responsive and friendly staff. The restaurant gets 4 stars. The interior is very nice and the atmosphere is great. Food options were a little bit limited, and they had a total of 5 cans of beer in the fridge before they ran out.. no wine available to pair with your dishes.
