A roadside coffee cart named for a father, running over a decade

Pull over on the Matavera main road for the cinnamon rolls, still warm, and coffee made from beans sourced out of Papua New Guinea. It's a cart, not a cafe, so grab a toastie or a mango Danish and keep it moving.

Nathan Ivaiti named the place after his late father, and it's been running for more than ten years on the stretch between Avarua and Muri. Easy stop, not a destination.

A short 5min walk from my accommodation - this place was my go-to for a delicious (hangover) cheese&onion toastie and berry smoothie! Lovely staff and also had to compliment them on their playlist :) you might get a cute animal to have brekkie with, too.

The best coffee on the island! The toast was really good too. Just be careful of the chickens, they tried to steal my breakfast! 🐔😂

Smoothies were all great! We tried mango, tropical and mixed berry. Lovely service. Wifi works well. They have free drinking water available too. Just watch out for the cheeky chicken if you have food!

Super friendly staff, very hospitable - and they make a mean toastie! I stopped here riding a bike around the island and it was a great place to relax.
