A husband-and-wife wine bar on Grisia, pouring more Croatian labels than Italian ones.
Adam and Lauren King opened Vino Vigneto on the artists' street Grisia in 2024, in a room barely big enough for a dozen guests. The bottle list runs through Istrian Malvazija and Teran alongside a rotating flight of Italian and Champagne pours, chosen for what interests the owners rather than for covering every region.
Candlelight and a couple of small tables make it better suited to two people splitting a bottle than a group night out. Meat and cheese boards round out the menu, and the pace is unhurried by design, closer to closing out an evening than starting one.

Had a great time here which we stumbled upon by accident, and enjoyed it so much we came back the next night for another drink on my 40th birthday. I had the Istrian wine flight, and Adam and Lauren (the owners) told the story of each of the wines, which complimented the whole experience really well. They’re super friendly, a really warm welcome and a very relaxed atmosphere. Also, their dog, Reeva, was there the first night which was a lovely addition. I would 100% recommend visiting here if you’re into your wines, or even if you’re not and you just fancy a quick drink in a really friendly atmosphere. Additionally, the photo spot leading up to the bar is a must.

Went in for a wine tasting at this lovely location tucked away in an alley off the streets of Rovinj. Adam and Loren - the owners - poured for us. We did the Journey Through Croatia and Istria Uncovered Wine Flights. It was amazing! They were both very knowledgeable about the wines, growing regions and wine makers. Highly recommend dropping for a tasting or just a glass.

Superb little wine room. Adam and Lauren have created a great place to experience local wines (some Italian too). Great knowledge and friendly banter. Say hi to Riva the dog too.:-)

Love this Place! Hidden gem, Most lovely couple, excellent Service best wine journey through crotia! Was a pleasure, make sure to make a stay there for a sonnata vino. Thanks for having us, we will be back soon!

We had a wonderful evening at Vino Vigneto in the heart of Rovinj’s old town. It’s a small, beautifully designed wine bar with a genuinely warm atmosphere, the kind of place you don’t want to leave. I had a wine flight to learn more about Croatian wines and my husband sampled a few reds with guidance from the owners until he found one he really loved. The wines were great, and the hospitality was even better. The couple who run the place were lovely to talk to and made us feel genuinely welcome rather than just served. And a special mention for Riva, their adorable dog, who kept an eye on everyone and personally vetted each guest before they were allowed to enjoy their wine. A fantastic evening all around. We’ll be back next time we’re in Rovinj.
