Ođe, ođe

Dalmatian home cooking meets Zagreb comfort, right by Trešnjevka market
Pavla Miličić and Romano Nikolić, both from Dubrovnik, opened Ođe, ođe next to Trešnjevka market in 2025. Instead of picking one regional identity, they mix Dalmatian home cooking with Zagreb staples. Fish fritters, stuffed sardines and roasted eggplant rotate with the season.
The owners call the place deliberately unpretentious, no plating for photos. It runs breakfast through early afternoon only, closed Mondays, and takes no reservations.

Great atmosphere and excellent food. Maybe a bit pricier than you’d expect for the location, but we’ll definitely come again.

Located just off of the market, this place has all the makings of a hidden gem. It's small enough to feel special and personal; each plate is perfectly curated and the drinks menu showcases excellent local wines. Family and dog friendly. The only problem is that you'll want to stay!

Spectacular bistro! Potentially best eatery in Zagreb at the moment. Fresh ingredients, amazing food, friendly atmosphere and best wine.
