Sixteen Croatian tapas, one chef, forty-five seats
Chef Mate Janković opened SOL on Petrinjska on May 2, 2025, built around Croatian ingredients served tapas-style instead of a single main course per person. The room seats forty-five, and reservations are close to mandatory once the tables fill.
The menu runs sixteen tapas plus weekly specials, open daily from noon (Sundays until 5pm), built for anyone who wants to taste across a Croatian pantry rather than settle on one plate.
Good to know
- Reservations are effectively mandatory, the 45-seat room fills fast.

I felt like I was dining in a Michelin-star restaurant. The presentation was artistic, the flavors in each dish were perfectly balanced, and the portions were satisfying without being overpriced. Definitely coming back again!

An exceptional restaurant that excels in every aspect. The food is beautifully presented, full of flavor, and made with great attention to detail. Service is professional, warm, and highly knowledgeable, with excellent presentation of each dish. The wine list is well curated and perfectly complements the menu. The atmosphere is elegant, relaxed, and welcoming, creating a complete and memorable dining experience. Highly recommended.

Dinner for two, made reservation that morning. The place itself is small, not much space between the tables, but location in the city centre is a plus, especially if you are tourist. We shared multiple tapas and drank babic testament. Also worth mentioning Navis olive oil, available during dinner on the table (amazing oil). Our waitress (forgot the name, very kind and professional woman from Sibenik) was perfect host, I can imagine she also contibutes to our overall great experience. We are coming back for sure!
