Havana's most reliable night out for drag and dancing, just off La Rampa

King Bar sits just off Calle 23 in La Rampa, one of Vedado's main nightlife strips. It runs as a late bar, not a restaurant. Expect drag shows, DJ sets and a crowd that skews queer-friendly, which still counts for something in a city with few dedicated LGBTQ nightlife spaces.

There's no real menu to speak of. It's built around a rotating schedule instead: drag competitions, themed parties, the kind of programming that gives people a reason to come back on a specific night.

A great night out in Havana with lively atmosphere that’s welcome to locals and tourists. You pay 1000 pesos to get in but you then use this to buy drinks which are also reasonably priced and strong! Staff were friendly and welcoming even with my limited Spanish. It is a busy place so you may have to queue for drinks but this is to be expected! Would definitely recommend.

Went with our friends and had a good time. The air conditioner was super cold to the point that security all wore coats. Reageton music mostly. Ordered bottle service and an appetizer plate. Food wasn’t great but we came to drink and party. On the expensive side so be prepared.

The food was amazing and so were the prices but the restaurant was unbearably hot. The bar inside is air-conditioned but the bar staff were not the best at service

Amazing place: always fun and happy people...amazing staff and also good international food ... the beef carpaccio and the jamón serrano and cheese plate very highly recommended!
