Compás Bar is run by ARTEX (the state cultural-promotion company) out of a spot on 1ra Avenida that doubles as a small cultural center. Beer, cocktails and occasional live performances come together in a central, walkable location.

  Fun local bar with plenty of cheap draught. Tables fill up at night pretty quickly! Also has a small air conditioned cafe open during the day.

  The best bar in all of varadero. Very affordable prices and service is excellent. Mia is a super fast and friendly server. Would highly recommend and will gladly return here next time I'm in varadero. Thank you staff at compas bar!

  We were there in 2020, and honestly, they have the best mojitos in Varadero. The daiquiris were impeccable, amazing. The service was flawless.
