The garden cafe hiding behind old town's car park

Find the entrance first, that's half the fun. Avli tis Nefelis sits in a garden behind the lower car park in old Paphos, family-run and self-service, with homemade treats that change depending on what got baked that morning.

The name means courtyard of the cloud, and native plants grow right into the seating area. No fixed menu, no rush, just closed Mondays.

Good to know

Entrance is by the lower car park lift, not the one next to Caffe Nero.
No fixed menu, so ask what's fresh that day rather than expecting a printed list.

Avli tis Nefelis is a absolute secret oasis in Paphos! Wandering through this lush, peaceful garden surrounded by blooming dragon fruit flowers, pomegranates, and herb gardens was such a delight. Loved seeing the turtle pond and meeting the friendly garden cat. The handcrafted wooden signs and charming decor give it so much soul. A must-visit spot if you want to escape into nature and enjoy a tranquil, beautiful atmosphere!

A very nice place to relax and have a drink with the family of friends. You get nature vibes decent beverages and lovely snacks, everything is tidy and clean. They maintain a minds of a garden/ nature trail, that you can walk through and relax even more.

A beautiful place with a very special charm! Avli tis Nefelis delights with a wonderful atmosphere, a dreamy garden, and a truly relaxing feel-good ambiance. On top of that, there is delicious coffee and amazing cake — simply the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing break in the Old Town of Paphos. Absolutely recommended!

We came across this little gem by watching YouTube. This beautiful hidden little Secret gardens/Cafe are a very short walk from Old Town indoor Market. It has 2 entrances, one from main carpark and one down the side road. We are here in May, so wild flowers are in bloom, Scarecrow, Ducks, Cats, Turtles and Goldfish. Homemade cakes, Freshly made Lemonade and other flavours. Friendly staff. Wish we had found it on our first visit to Cyprus. So peaceful, with lovely surroundings. A must visit if in old town area.
