200 wine labels poured under old stone in Paphos

Stone walls, a list past 200 labels and small Cypriot producers next to the usual European names. That's the pitch at this wine bar on Kosta Karnavalou street, set inside a restored old town storehouse.

Chef Marios Ioannou builds Mediterranean small plates to match the glass, not the other way round. There's no online booking, so call ahead if you want a table on a Friday or Saturday.

We took friends from London to ethos for dinner. It was our first time but we always wanted to go. We loved every moment of the evening. The atmosphere, the staff, the food, everything was amazing. Marios and his team really know how to create unforgettable memories.

From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The food was outstanding, made with high-quality ingredients and packed with incredible flavor. The cocktail menu was just as impressive, with expertly crafted drinks that perfectly complemented the meal. What truly made the experience special was the outstanding service and genuine hospitality. The team was friendly, professional, and made sure every detail was taken care of. The setting is absolutely breathtaking—the most beautiful spot in Pafos to enjoy great food, amazing drinks, and a wonderful atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place that delivers on every level, this is it. Highly recommended!

We craved a romantic day out and the locals highly recommended Ethos Vin so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant exuded big city vibes with impressive decoration and a lively atmosphere. Our drinks were expertly crafted by the barman Georgi, who expertly prepared both a Paloma and a spicy margarita. The friendly staff offered helpful recommendations for our menu choices. We savoured the refreshing sea bass ceviche and hamachi, both cooked to perfection. For our main courses, we opted for ribeye steak and lamb chops. We specified our preferred medium doneness and they arrived as expected. We thoroughly enjoyed the overall experience and shared our feedback with the general manager Marios, who ensured we had a truly memorable evening. We wholeheartedly recommend Ethos Vin and look forward to our next visit.

Had a very nice evening here. The atmosphere was great, the staff were welcoming, and the carpaccio was definitely the standout dish for me. Would recommend!
