Crater pours its own craft beer alongside a serious cocktail list, classics next to signature drinks, from a terrace on Ambato and Thomas Halflants. It's one of the names that made Baños's rooftop scene a thing in the first place.
The lighting is bright rather than moody, and people mention that as often as they mention the drinks. Newer rooftops keep opening nearby. Crater still holds its ground.

This is a really nice place to go for a drink or to eat. Partly in the open air with nice view of the city centre. Very friendly people. And possibility to do a salsa workshop for 5$.

Great place to watch the world cup, amazing views at sunset. The bartenders are all very friendly and make great drinks.

A really beautiful place with a great atmosphere. The view around 5:30-6:00 PM is magnificent with the sun setting over the mountains. The beer is good too. I highly recommend it!

Really beautiful bar and restaurant with a beautiful view of the city of Baños. The drinks are deliciously made, the food is really good and offers a variety of national and international dishes. The staff is really friendly, helpful and forthcoming. I recommend it to everyone visiting Baños!

Tony is an amazing bartender with some awesome shaker skills! We sat at the bar and were pleasantly surprised by the service and quality of cocktails! The pisco sours were my favorite.
