Go up at dusk, when the river turns gold and the whole city spreads out beneath the terrace. Juliana pours a focused cocktail list rather than a long one, and guest bartenders from across Latin America rotate through, which is how most people outside Ecuador first heard of it.

Skip the printed menu overload elsewhere and just ask the bartender what's on. The view does the rest.

What a lovely place. The service was superb. The atmosphere is in sync with the history. This is a must if you are in guayaquil.

Someone recommended me this place. I love this restaurant. Starting with the drinks, although a little pricy, the pipi de mono was on offer at $5, and it was fantastic. I ordered a tablet (Cheese platter). I like this version with toasted peanuts. The combinations of flavors were spectacular. I also order the pork belly sliders. There are two on the plate. Little BBQ sauce and juicy pork belly make a perfect combination of flavors. And also, regarding the dessert, they should win a Michelin star just for the dessert itself. Cacao is named a mix of mousse chocolate, ganache de white chocolate, maracuyá and nibs served on a vasija de mate; the flavor was something out of this world

This is a hidden gem in Guayaquil... So much thought goes into their cocktails and food. It feels like a little french bistro overlooking the street. Everything we had was incredible!

I came to see a sunset, enjoy some food, and a wine... 4 items I asked for on the menu were not available so I gave up on food and wine. I had the Ciudad de Colores cocktail which was bland... The place has some cool decoration ideas but appears a bit run down/old. The music was very nice, with cold A/C for the tables inside
