Terrace cocktails over the Nile at the Old Cataract

This is the same clifftop terrace that made the Old Cataract famous, the one Agatha Christie and a century of Nile travellers have looked out from over a drink. The river, the First Cataract's granite islands, feluccas working the current below.

Nothing in the glass is experimental, the draw is where you're sitting while you drink it. Open all day for tea and coffee as much as evening cocktails, and non-guests can book a table. Do it for sunset, when the granite outcrops turn pink.
