Café by day, restobar by night, inside Cinema Radio

Almería pulls off something rare in Cairo: a café that holds up through the afternoon and turns into a proper restobar after dark, neither half feeling bolted on.

The building is half the draw. It sits inside the Cinema Radio Building on Talaat Harb Street, one of downtown's great 1930s facades. Go once in daylight, once at night, they're different places.
