Zanzibar Lounge & Kitchen

Hawassa Opened Opening date unknown

Live jazz and a wine list in Hawassa.

Where do you take a date in Hawassa? Zanzibar Lounge is the name that keeps coming up. It plays a different register than the city's kurt-and-tibs bars: live jazz, a real wine list and cocktails next to the beer.

Chicken dishes anchor the kitchen. You'll find it in the 05 ward on the road toward Lake View Hotel. No opening date turns up anywhere, which fits an established fixture.
