A Montpellier jewelry label goes big, right into the Polygone mall

Stainless steel rings, gold-plated necklaces, bracelets that won't break the bank: Atelier 19 built its name on fantasy jewelry that skips the precious-metal price tag. The Rue Four des Flammes shop is where it started.

Now there's a second spot under the Polygone's glass-roofed upper level. This is a homegrown Montpellier label taking on the city's biggest mall, not a chain parachuting in, and the original shop is still open too.
