Paint a mug, sip organic tea, come back later to pick up your glazed piece
Julia and Tévy, two former teachers, opened Pause Biscuit on Place Occitane on August 26, 2025, mixing a pottery studio with a coffee shop under one roof. Pick a ceramic piece, paint it at your table, then hand it to the staff for glazing and firing while you finish your organic tea or a slice of gluten-free cake.
The format skips the usual laptop-and-scroll coffee shop routine. You leave without your piece and come back later to collect it, which makes this a place built for a second visit rather than one quick stop.

We came as a group for my birthday. Julia and Tévy, the owners of the ceramic café, were very responsive and accommodating from the initial email contact. Communication was smooth, and the booking process was also seamless. Once we arrived, it was fantastic. The instructions were clear, there was a wide variety of materials and ceramics available, and they were always happy to answer questions. It was our first experience at a ceramic café, and it was a hit with everyone. We'll definitely be back! ☀️

We had a fantastic time with family and friends this Saturday at Pause Biscuit! Everyone, young and old, had a wonderful time, expertly guided by Tevy and Julia. The setting was lovely, we had plenty of time to focus, unwind, and enjoy delicious homemade snacks...we can't wait to pick up our creations. It was our first time trying a "ceramics café"...it was a success, we'll definitely be back! Thank you and see you soon!

I went to Pause Bisquit twice this week because I enjoyed it so much, and my husband also wanted a mug to commemorate our trip to Toulouse. So I visited Julia and Tévy on Tuesday and Thursday. They were both incredibly friendly and explained everything to me in English. The coffee and cake were delicious, and the atmosphere was fantastic! Since I'm not from Toulouse, they even let someone else pick up my hand-painted ceramic for me. If I'm ever in Toulouse again, I'll definitely be back! 🤩
