The Papeete café that gave five people their first job
Five young adults with disabilities run the counter and floor here, trained on-site at a café built around employing them, not bolted onto an existing business. It's modeled on France's Cafés Joyeux chain.
The menu stays simple: coffee and breakfast until 10am, then tapas, wine and beer until close at 2:30pm. A year in, local TV still stops by, less for the food than for the jobs that didn't exist before.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An exceptional human and culinary experience An absolutely fantastic place from start to finish! This café, run by people with disabilities, truly deserves to be highlighted. The service is warm, attentive, and genuine; you immediately feel at ease. The dishes are simply delicious, beautifully presented, and prepared with care. Beyond the culinary quality, it's above all a wonderful human experience, full of kindness and authenticity. I recommend it 100%! A place to support and discover without hesitation 🤍

The atmosphere reflects its staff: warm, welcoming, and full of life. A vibrant place that you absolutely must try at least once. (Or even more, enjoy without moderation!)

The homemade food is excellent and the staff very friendly! The perfect spot in town to relax with friends over a beer or coffee early in the morning!
