Papeete's 1933 dance hall, back with live bands and Polynesian food

Quinn's was the dance hall every Papeete local of a certain age remembers, the room people mean when they talk about nights out before Tahiti had nightclubs. It shut decades ago and sat closed until this year, when a new team took the name and a spot near the municipal market on rue des Remparts and rebuilt it from scratch.

The new version leans into the history instead of hiding it. Expect 1930s touches in the decor, a Polynesian food menu, and live local bands most nights instead of a DJ. It's a bet that Papeete still wants a room built for dancing, not another cocktail lounge.

A must-visit in Tahiti! The food is amazing, fresh, and authentic. It has a fantastic atmosphere with great music and vibe. What makes it truly unique is the rich history you can feel in every corner. Great service and drinks too. Highly recommended!

Thank you the Quinn’s for that mémorable local experience ! I couldn’t more recommand their local brunch on the Sunday morning, or the local tahitian burger ! Cocktails 🍹 were pretty strong and délicious ! Loved their free Welcome Punch ✨
