A Tbilisi tailoring house that hides a 70-seat restaurant
Dinner between the clothing racks. Dalood's flagship on Giorgi Akhvlediani Street splits its space in two: one half showroom, one half a 70-seat restaurant serving contemporary European food, some dishes written by creative director Maka Kvitsiani herself.
Wine here, Georgian and European, runs well below what you'd pay at a hotel bar. The brand has been women-owned and women-run since 2003, but this flagship only opened in 2024 after two years of planning. Kvitsiani wanted it to stop feeling like a clothing shop, and it does.
Good to know
- The shop runs Mon-Sat 11:00-21:00 and Sun 12:00-20:00; the cafe stays open until midnight.
- The building is a listed heritage house, worth a look at the stair and ceilings even if you buy nothing.

There were many beautiful and stylish pieces, but the prices were well above average; a sweater I liked cost 500 lari. Nevertheless, I think it's definitely a place worth checking out for those on a budget.

Gorgeous store with a nice cafe inside. The staff is incredibly friendly, sharing insights about the designer and the storeâs concept. The clothing here is incredibly feminine, and having a cafe inside adds a delightful touch. Perfect for fashion lovers. Highly recommended!

I strongly suggest you to visit Dalood showroom for those reasons: âItâs content creators & fashion influencers-friendly space. Itâs the ONLY boutique among georgian designersâs shops that allows and encourages taking pictures. All the other famous brands donât allow recording or taking pictures, which is insane in the modern digital era of social media and enormous competition âCan you believe that EVERY staff member is nice there? In couple of minutes shop assistant Nini gave me the history behind brandâs name and some background on impeccable interior design items. I mean that takes professionalism and true love for your work place to explain brandâs philosophy in a nutshell without being overwhelming âItâs not just a clothing store with a cafe, it is the whole art gallery experience. Very chic, artful, luxurious and exclusive space, where you wonât feel yourself unwanted or judged, which letâs agree, is extremely RARE. To conclude: MUST VISIT
