Vietnamese coffee, sourdough and day-drinks in Sachsenhausen
Anna Felten and Dang Hai opened Bao's on February 14, 2026 at Diesterwegstraße 10, named after the Vietnamese word for something treasured.
The menu runs from cà phê sữa with condensed milk to sourdough bread, brioche and overnight oats, plus small tapas-style snacks. Coffee comes from Backyard, oat milk from Mølk and bread from local Frankfurt bakeries.

We had strawberry matcha and viatnamese salty coffee. Matcha was flop but we loved salty coffee. Also blueberry cake is tasty

Probably the best located café in Sachsenhausen. You can always catch the sun in the morning drinking a phenomenal coffee on the cozy terrace. The cakes are delicious as well!

A really great coffee spot with a thoughtful, well-designed atmosphere. You can tell a lot of care went into the details — the whole place feels cohesive and genuinely pleasant to spend time in. What stood out the most, though, was the staff. The girl taking orders and the people making the drinks were some of the friendliest people ever — very kind, attentive, and genuinely happy to help. They made the whole experience feel easy and comfortable, and helped me choose without any pressure. I’m very grateful for that level of warmth and service. If I’m ever in Frankfurt again, I would definitely come back.

The food and drinks were amazing! The menu is creative and I love the asian inspired menu!! The interior is also well designed and everything is super cute! It will be def my go to Spot now with my friends 😍✨🎀
