A vaulted cellar café, back from the dead
Café Kränzel went quiet for a stretch, then locals missed it enough to bring it back. A kindergarten teacher and an architect gave up their careers to reopen it in March 2026, keeping the name and the vaulted cellar room intact.
The small garden behind it is still easy to miss from the street, which makes finding a table there feel like a small win.
