Armenian dumplings behind an unchanged sign

The soups are the move here, thick with dumplings and served under a name that never changed even though everything else did. Arman Ozmanyan took over the old Löffel-Bar space and rebuilt the menu around Armenian cooking, the kind he used to serve at his old spot Dolma nearby.

Upper Berliner Straße keeps recycling the same small operators through the same storefronts. This one's worth the detour for the dumplings alone.

I'm amazed at what these two ladies have managed to create here at the little Löffel Bar. The rice pudding is fantastic! Everyone should try it. It's really delicious. The ladies are very friendly and polite, always happy to offer advice, and they know what they're doing. Last week I had pasta with sausage goulash and Parmesan. Highly recommended. My companion also ordered something he enjoyed. Unfortunately, I can't remember what he had. Some high-end restaurants could learn a thing or two from them. Thank you for everything!

Simply delicious! The rice pudding with cinnamon and sugar tastes just like I remember it from my childhood. I can also wholeheartedly recommend the other dishes, such as the goulash with sauerkraut and potatoes or the mustard eggs. Excellent value for money! Keep it up. Very tasty.
