Croissants and coffee from two friends, in a former video store
Juli and Lisa opened Studio Alfie on 2 December 2025, turning a space that once housed a childcare facility, and before that a video rental shop, into a small café built around fresh croissants, warm focaccia, and homemade cakes. It's owner-run rather than a chain outpost, one of the newer spots on Weststadt's Rohrbacher Straße alongside restaurants that have been open for years.
Open Tuesday to Saturday for breakfast and coffee.

Snobby Australian coffee-approved. 🙈 🤣🤣✌️ (We are insufferable, I know). Spacious, whimsical but also calm interior design, and one of the tastiest oat flat whites I've ever had in Germany.

Went for an espresso tonic and it was good. They offered variety of cakes and drinks and the place had lots of space and spacy rooms. The only confusing part was red light in toilet rooms (could potentially be triggering for people with neurological conditions) and we somehow felt a more authentic music playlist would fit to the mood and atmosphere instead of just popular songs. All in all, a nice spot at this side of the city.

I loved this place! The coffee is delicious, and they offer tasty healthy choices. The mango chia was so good! The atmosphere is very nice and bright, and the staff are very friendly.

A truly unique, stylish, and modern café. Great atmosphere and interior. Very inviting! The service was very friendly, the cappuccino delicious, the latte art could be improved. We didn't try the food, but if it tastes as good as it looks: 10/10 :-) We'll definitely be back!
