Mediterranean plates under the orange trees of Trion Navarchon
Grab a table under the bitter-orange trees on Trion Navarchon and you'll get why locals call this the prettiest street in Patras to eat outside. Rooster's kitchen leans Mediterranean and European with a modern touch, and it's become one of the street's fixtures.
The menu keeps evolving, most recently with more house-made mezedes alongside the Mediterranean core. Book ahead on weekend evenings. The street fills up fast the moment the weather turns good.

It's a lovely spot. Staff were great. Spoke English and Greek. Food was ok, felt it was over priced. The Greek salad was large but only had a little bit of Feta cream (no feta blocks) and some Olive taponade. I know things have gotten more expensive but perhaps consider offering an additional cost option to add Greek feta chunks, actua whole Kalamata olives and oregano 😀 The Chicken Souvlaki (grilled chicken sticks) was well done so props for that!

Great food and the staff was excellent. We ordered five items to share among four people, and it would have been the perfect amount... Except they brought us two other items on the house...and then dessert...and then a shot. Great recommendations from the waiter, but as far as I can tell everything else was excellent as well. We'll be back next time we're in Patras

The food was delicious, the portions relatively large and the prices affordable. The service was extraordinary. Air conditioning brings the atmosphere to the next level. In addition to all of this, we received extra food which was on the house and, not to mention, quite tasty. Overall, an amazing experience and I would definitely come back to eat here.

We came specially to this place after reading good reviews. Everything written down is very true. The stuff is amazing, the food was good and nicely served. The restaurant hat a big group of people, but we waited shortly for our dishes. We got the gazpacho soup and then waitress brought us also the greek cheese to try. I would really recommend it! My dad ordered a greek pork steak and for us the portion was really huge. Meat was really good. My moussaka was proper, for me personally little spiced and too little salt. My mum’s pasta had a lot of shrimps and mussels. The liquor was sweet and tasty. I have to say the chocolate mousse stole my heart and i would love to it again! Generally it is very good place to visit while staying in Patras :).

We went here because of the reviews and the reviews were right! This place has the best value! Very tasty food, with a variety not found in most Greek restaurants - a rare find in Greece. Multiple complementary tasting dishes, all of which were excellent. Arrive with an appetite. You will want to try everything! They were also very happy to accommodate our dietary restrictions. Service was very friendly and professional as well. We will be back here the next time we are in Patras. Note: No compensation was offered nor received for this review. We are just a Canadian couple traveling the Med happy to recommend little gems we find along the way.
