Coffee by day, tacos some nights, in the Kapani market

Mornings and afternoons, Koukou Project is a straightforward coffee bar with pastries on Spandoni Street. Some nights it flips into a Mexican street food pop-up with tacos instead. There's no fixed schedule for the switch, so check Instagram before you go if tacos are the plan.

The Kapani market has filled up with new cafes over the past year. Koukou Project is one of the few that stays open from early morning straight through the evening instead of shutting when the market stalls close.
