Three floors of cocktails that made Thessaloniki a 50 Best city
No theme room, no gimmick, just three floors moving at three different paces near the Bezesteni market. Purovoku Project became the first bar outside Athens to land on the 50 Best Discovery list, and it's easy to see why once the glass is in your hand.
The menu turns over up to three times a month, built on seasonal produce and house-made ingredients instead of a fixed list of classics. A cocktail runs around $12. Skip trying to book Wednesday through Sunday, there's no reservations then anyway.

Just loved this bar! Amazing creative cocktails, lovely atmosphere. As the evening went on the great team kept bringing more tables, chairs & heaters. Aggellos was so warm & welcoming. We will definitely go again next time we are in Thessaloniki.

Swanky bar with old school 90s vibe and a modern twist/vibe. They have a zero waste philosophy. The menu is seasonal. They have a green 💚 house on the roof top that a lot of their botanicals come from. The bar was suggested to me by the homies at Cercle de Salonique : shout out to Xristos! Thanks to Angelos the bar tender and the rest of the crew for showing me looovveee! 🙏🏿🔥🫴

What a place! The passion put into the mixes and the passion to which they present their signature cocktails is definetly found in the taste afterwards. They create most of their special ingredients (such as the salty cucumber powder blown onto my glass). Loved every bit of it!

The signature cocktails are top-notch: creative recipes, well-balanced, made with fresh ingredients, and always with great attention to detail. Prices are fair for the quality you get. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always asks about your taste preferences or mood before recommending something — and their suggestions are always worth trying. If you're looking for a stylish place with great cocktails and excellent service Provoku is definitely worth checking out!

The perfect cocktail bar in Thessaloniki! They serve a selection of own creations and of course also all relevant standard cocktails. If you love a decent classic Martini or Negroni, this is definitely the place to go. The bartenders are very competent to suggest something you will definitely like. 🍸
