The coffee shop Georgetown found out about on Reddit

Kiskadee Coffee got famous before it even opened. A Reddit thread about the owners hiring baristas and a manager made the rounds while the shop was still under construction near the Marriott. Once the doors opened, regulars from Waterloo and Quamina streets showed up fast.

The menu covers the usual espresso drinks, but the real draw is Guyanese-grown coffee served by the cup, something most Georgetown cafes skip in favor of imported beans.

I was visiting Guyana, and was looking for a local coffee place and stumbled across this spot. The coffee was amazing, they source their beans from many unique places, and the quality is great! I was able to visit twice during my visit to Guyana and loved it both times. Highly recommend this place.

Best coffee shop in Georgetown!! The drinks and food are so delicious, especially the masala chai! The servers are always welcoming and the atmosphere is so calming!! Highly recommend!!

It's stylish, has a nice atmosphere, and is well priced. Coffee is also delicious. I was worried about coming to Guyana for the first time, but I was able to have fun talking with the owner and his wife, and my anxiety eased.
